I was informed by my office buddy about the Coleman Warehouse Sale yesterday November 29, 2014.....I instantly googled where it was and found several blogs and ads about it. Warehouse Sale was located in Pioneer corner Reliance St. Mandaluyong City. I checked the map coz' the only place I know there was Unilab and Bayanihan Center where Komikon always happen. I was just a few blocks from Bayanihan Center. I asked a trike driver where it was and to my awe, there it was big rich-family cars parked on the streets causing traffic! haha! I found it! The Warehouse Sale....actually Black Friday was on my mind where people are brawling for price dropped items. But No! we pinoys are calm shoppers. the warehouse was filled with amazing items from Coleman, Oster, Tempur, Kitchenaid, Insinketor, and DMC. Most of the items I'm interested in were in 20-25% not bad though mall prices are really high. I was looking for camping gear especially a good quality sleeping bag...that's just it on my list. The rest are no longer important. When I got in...people were like hoarding jugs and coolers. I'm like...."where's the camping and outdoors section?" I found heaps of sleeping bags with different models and different designs from Coleman. I was like these are expensive items on a regular retail price. For example I saw the Coleman Go! was for about Php 1339 in the mall but on sale it was less than 1K, about Php 985 I think. Having these items on sale would be cool.
Despite the flock of shoppers, the need supercedes the introvert in me. I had to find the best sleeping bag for future camping and hiking trips. Found the big pile of Coleman sleeping bags Go!, Compact C25, Biker Sleeping Bag and Hemisphere. Voila! on a separate pile there was the Travelite which was on 22% off. The perfect price and perfect sleeping bag that I'm looking for.
Now Mt. Pulag I'm ready for you. Hoping for future plans to Mt. Pulag!
